Sinful Colors - Twilight Twinkles

Hello Everyone!

This is just a single swatch for a new Sinful Colors gold flakie I picked up two days ago called Twilight Twinkles. What is unique about this topper is that in addition to the gold flakes, there are golden holo bar glitters! I almost put this one back, as I have a similar polish by Julep, but I saw the holo bars and my purchase was automatically justified. :)

This is one layer of Twilight Twinkles on top of Wet Cement by Wet N Wild.

NYC - Fashion Safari and Top of Gold

Hello Everyone!

While I was at Target the other night getting a new iPhone charging cord (those things always break!), I figured I'd take a peek at the nail polish isle. Bad idea! I happened to pick up two beautiful NYC polishes, among other things. I'd like to note that I typically do not buy NYC. I think before these two, I only had two other shades and generally walk past them. But I have been looking for a taupe color and this gold flakie topper was sitting right next to it... Needless to say, I could not pass these up. What woman doesn't love gold?!

Fashion Safari is a taupe creme that would be a great "nude" for someone with fairer skin. This is two coats with no top coat.

Top of the Gold is a dense golden glitter flakie. It goes perfectly with Fashion Safari and I'm sure it would look great on any other polish. This is one coat on top of the previous polish. What I like about this gold flakie is that they flakes are semi transparent. I can't wait to see how it looks layered on darker colors.

I think that both of these polishes were about $1.79 at Target. NYC is sold at most other drug stores.

Wet N Wild - Wet Cement Swatch

Hello Everyone!

This is just a random swatch I did for Wet Cement by Wet N Wild. I had been on the fence about this shade because it looked really muddy but turned out to be a good "nude" for my skin tone. I really like this the Megalast line by Wet N Wild because of the neutral colors and the shape of the brushes. This is two coats of Wet Cement with no top coat.

Wet N Wild is sold at most convenience stores as well as Target (where I happened to pick this up).

Pretty & Polished Haul!

Hello everyone!

I received my first Pretty & Polished order this past weekend. I was so happy with this order because all of the polishes are amazing! My grandmother even insisted that I paint her nails with one!

Unfortunately, I was swatching late at night and forgot to take a full picture of my nails with Wish Yule Were Here on, so I will post that one at a later date.

Either way, let the swatching begin!

First up is There is S'more to Life. This is an off white crelly with brown, gold and bronze glitters. It really does remind me of s'mores!

Hoodie Weather is a favorite of mine... I just love this shade of blue, and there are black micro glitters in this polish as well. I saw this polish and just had to have it. For some reason it reminds me of oreos. Or maybe I am just hungry! :)

Thermal Remedy is an orange color changing polish. When it is hot, it turns to white. It has orange square, hex and circle glitters inside. I just adore the way this polish looks in the middle of a shift. The only issue that I ran into with this polish was that my camera was having issues picking up the orange.

Finally, I swatched Ninjas Hate Crunchy Leaves. Honestly, if the awesome glitter combo didn't sell me, the name did. This topper has red, orange, yellow and white hexes and cute little orange and yellow hexes. I layered this glitter on top of Wet Cement by Wet N Wild.

Polish Inventory!

Hello Everyone!

I have spent the last two days doing a polish inventory! I have a LOT of polish, so I wanted to create a way to keep from buying duplicates. In case you're interested, I will post the link to my polish inventory!

I am planning on just going through my whole collection and posting swatches of them all as I am going on a polish fast for the month of December (minus my Julep box). :)

Please stay tuned!
