Pretty & Polished - Wish Yule Were Here

Hello Everyone!

This post is a sister to a previous entry in regards to Pretty & Polished. I had forgotten to swatch Wish Yule Were Here from their Winter 2014 collection. For this swatch, I layered 2 coats of Wish Yule Were Here over Termo Trio 1 by Dance Legend.

Wish Yule were here is a purple crelly with blue and taupe hexes and circles. As it is a crelly, it becomes opaque in three coats or can be layered on top of a similar base color. The formula is good, but you must be patient when adding coats. This glitter is simply beautiful and quite festive.

Pretty & Polished is not sold in stores but can be purchased from their online store. In fact, after my grandmother urged me to buy this polish for her, I bought two more shades haha! Look forward to those soon, followers!

Until next time,

Pretty & Polished Haul!

Hello everyone!

I received my first Pretty & Polished order this past weekend. I was so happy with this order because all of the polishes are amazing! My grandmother even insisted that I paint her nails with one!

Unfortunately, I was swatching late at night and forgot to take a full picture of my nails with Wish Yule Were Here on, so I will post that one at a later date.

Either way, let the swatching begin!

First up is There is S'more to Life. This is an off white crelly with brown, gold and bronze glitters. It really does remind me of s'mores!

Hoodie Weather is a favorite of mine... I just love this shade of blue, and there are black micro glitters in this polish as well. I saw this polish and just had to have it. For some reason it reminds me of oreos. Or maybe I am just hungry! :)

Thermal Remedy is an orange color changing polish. When it is hot, it turns to white. It has orange square, hex and circle glitters inside. I just adore the way this polish looks in the middle of a shift. The only issue that I ran into with this polish was that my camera was having issues picking up the orange.

Finally, I swatched Ninjas Hate Crunchy Leaves. Honestly, if the awesome glitter combo didn't sell me, the name did. This topper has red, orange, yellow and white hexes and cute little orange and yellow hexes. I layered this glitter on top of Wet Cement by Wet N Wild.
